An informal dance concert at 1:30 p.m. and a student choreography showcase at 7:30 p.m. will be May 2 in the WTLO theater on NW Campus.
NW dance associate professor Kim Jackson said the informal concert will include multiple dance genres.
“This is an opportunity for audience participants to see what gets accomplished in dance classes, and, hopefully, it will inspire them to enroll in classes in the near future,” she said.
Jackson said the showcase was entirely produced by dance composition students who have created pieces both inspiring and emotional.
“They have collaborated with the dance performance classes to make this production happen,” she said.
“Audiences can expect emotionally rich dancing — for the students truly bare their souls.”
This event is open to the public.
