Simian Mobile Disco Attack Decay Sustain Release (3 stars)
The electronic duo, Simian Mobile Disco, try to obtain to the same hype and acclaim as France’s Justice with their newest album, Attack Decay Sustain Release, but walk away without either.
The CD from the British pair isn’t bad, but the album sounds like every other electronica album out there.
“I Believe” is the best track. Its light beat is accompanied by a nice vocals. The song sounds more ’80s than electronic.
“Hotdog” sounds like a synthesized version of a baseball chant, and “Wooden” is just annoying.
Attack Decay Sustain Release is all right but not worth its price tag.
