Student walks away from accident
NE student Christian Munoz (left) was hit on the driver’s side of his vehicle by 93-year-old Tom Baumgardner Oct. 24 at Harwood Road and Campus Drive near NE Campus. Baumgardner said he turned left into Munoz’s vehicle, causing it to flip. Munoz was pulled from his vehicle through the back. No injuries were reported or traffic citations issued.
