Nov. 16 Students, faculty and staff can participate in the NE Turkey Trot 5K and One-Mile Fun Run at 12:45 p.m. The final day for pre-registration is Nov. 15 in the Main Lobby of NHPE at the supervisor’s desk. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Runners are to meet at the NE tennis courts no later than 12:30 p.m. with a minimum of two cans of food. Additional donations are appreciated. Nov. 17 The Gobble Wobble 5K run will take off at 8:30 a.m. at South Campus’ north entry. The cost for TCC students and employees is five cans of nonperishable food, and the cost for non-TCC participants is $10 and five cans of food. Groups of five may enter for $40 and 20 cans. Participants will receive a T-shirt. On-site registration will be available, but shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
Nov. 17 Students and their dogs will be on display at Bark for Life, which will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on NE Campus. People can bring their canines to participate in top-dog and dress-up contests, team fundraising, a non-competitive walk relay and special canine guest demonstrations.
