Women In New Roles is hosting Women in Control Taking Charge in 2012— Exploring Our Options Together on Nov. 2.
Catherine Simpson, former executive director for the Fort Worth Women’s Business Center, will present the seminar along with Mary McMahon, financial planner for Prudential Financial.
Simpson, who now works as diversity/communications relations manager for Prudential Financial, also presented last year. She was the Women’s Business Center director for nine years.
South WINR program coordinator Triesha Light said students could benefit from the presentation.
“[Attendees should learn] specific steps they can take to creating stability in their financial future,” she said.
The seminar will be held 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in SSTU Texas Room on South Campus.
