Tarrant County commissioner to be keynote speaker Nov. 18 for TR Leadership Summit

The TR Center for Leadership Development will present its 12th Leadership Experience Summit featuring keynote speaker Tarrant County Commissioner Roy C. Brooks.

Brooks’ presentation will be followed by breakout sessions led by TCC faculty and staff. Participants will explore and develop the leadership skills that will benefit themselves and their community.

Brooks has had a long public service career. For 14 years, he served as precinct administrator for Tarrant County, Precinct One. He served three terms on the Forest Hill City Council, two of which he served as mayor pro tem.

Also, he has been an active volunteer and involved in many issues affecting citizens.

The Leadership Summit will be 1-3 p.m. Nov. 18 in Action A (TRTR 4202). Refreshments will be served.
