SE students can learn how to get involved in campus life during a club fair this week.Club Expo will run 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 8-9 in the Main Commons.

Representatives from more than 40 student organizations will provide information about the various clubs SE Campus offers.

“It’s a way for all the clubs and organizations that are active and some that are less active to reach a variety of students and showcase some of the things the clubs can do,” said Amy Staley, instructional assistant for SE student activities.

Students can pick up brochures with information of what the various clubs are about and what types of activities the members of a club will do.

New students might want to check out the focus of the various student organizations to give themselves the chance to meet fellow students.

Through participation in clubs, students also can gain valuable experience that can help them in the future.

Clubs are a major part of college life and can provide someone with opportunities that he or she would otherwise not have, such as leadership roles, competitions and field trips.

SE Campus has a diverse selection of clubs to choose from.

There are more than 80 student organizations and one to fit any interest someone may have.

Club Expo is free for all students.
