With elections on everyone’s mind, NW Campus will present Presidential Election 1968/2008.
The seminar is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, in WSTU 1303-1305.
Dr. James W. Riddlesperger, professor and chair of TCU’s political science department, will compare the 1968 and 2008 presidential elections. Riddlesperger primarily lectures on American politics and research methods and specialized in studying the American presidency.
“The lecture will be … part of our year-long commemoration of the 40th anniversary of 1967-68,” Dr. Laura Matysek Wood, department chair, said.
The lecture is free and open to the public. A luncheon will be held for NW Campus Cornerstone students and faculty with Riddlesperger following the presentation.
