Sgt. Lavern James, the police supervisor on TRE Campus, died in a head-on collision in Archer County Feb. 7 while returning home from a funeral in Lubbock.
“Since his accident, we have been with his family,” police chief Shaun Williams said.
James had worked at TCC for 12 years and became the main officer on TRE Campus in April. All TCC police offices are accepting donations to assist the family.
