South career coordinator to present basic job interviewing techniques

By Eric Bergman

With many students graduating this semester and over the summer, they become increasingly eager to find their niche and begin their careers.

To help with that search, Monica Bettle, career center coordinator, will present Interviewing Basics Thursday, April 24, on South Campus.

Bettle plans to cover a multitude of interviewing pointers starting with the basics of the interviewing process.

“We will discuss what questions to ask, possible questions to expect and other viable information to help prepare for a successful interview,” she said.

Also to be covered are the types of interviews: “behavioral, stress and group.”

The seminar begins at 1 p.m. in the SSTU Texas Room. Admission is free for students. For further information, contact Bettle at 817-515-4737.
