Dan Dyer Self-titled (3 stars)
Dan Dyer, an Austin-based musician, makes an impressive return to music after a hiatus with his third release,Dan Dyer.
Though typically a songwriter/singer, Dyer is an uncommonly talented vocalist and musician.
His songs can be classified as soul or soft rock, but Dyer’s music, overall, can’t be labeled. Dan Dyer seems to acquire specific features of different genres, therefore transcending genres.
With Dyer’s striking vocals, the album doesn’t include, and doesn’t need, much else.
Specifically, “Love Chain,” the first song on the album, pulls in the listener with fantastic vocal talent.
Dan Dyer is the perfect companion to a relaxing, comfortable day, but it might inspire something more.
