Theater:

Dec. 4-7 Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love opens at 7 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday in the NFAB theater on NE Campus. The play tells the story of Eddie and May, star-crossed lovers hopelessly drawn together but torn apart by a dark secret. Tickets are free for TCC students, faculty and staff, $3 for other students and senior citizens and $6 for the general public. To reserve tickets, call the NE box office at 817-515-6687.

Dec. 4-8 Theatre Northwest presents Bertolt Brecht’s The Good Woman of Szechwan, a musical about a humble prostitute living in Szechwan. The play examines the relationship between economic systems and the moral standards they produce. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4-7 and 2 p.m. Dec. 8. Admission is free for all TCC students, faculty and staff, $6 for the general public and $3 for other students and senior citizens. Call the box office at 817-515-7724 for reservations.

Art:

Now-Dec. 7 The Four Walls: Four Works exhibit in the Lakeview Gallery on NW Campus features the original artwork of four students selected by a panel of jurors. The works include acrylic, collage, video and clay slip. For more information, contact associate professor Fred Spaulding at frederick.spaulding@tccd.edu.

Now-Dec. 12 Barnabaccio: A Retrospective is on display in the Carillon Gallery on South Campus. This conceptual art exhibit features mixed media sculptures. The gallery, located in the Joe B. Dance:

Dec. 5-6 SE Campus presents Danceworks 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the C.A. Roberson Theatre. The dance concert will showcase dance students and feature the student dance ensemble Rhapsody Movement Company. The event is open to the public. Admission is free with a TCC ID and $5 for general admission. Reservations are required. Special Events:

Dec. 5 The NE Campus Association of Potters and Sculptors will hold its annual holiday art sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the NSTU North Hallway. The artists, both students and some instructors, will have numerous handmade, one-of-a kind items available in all price ranges.
