String groups to play

Students, staff and faculty are invited to attend the Spring Ensemble Concert on NE Campus Monday, April 23, at 7 p.m.

Students of the NE music department’s Beginning Country Strings and International Strings classes will participate in the concert performing a variety of music performances from Scottish, American folk, Classical, pop and country.

The concert will also feature guest performances with the country vocals of Seminole Wind and Long Blacktrain.

The grand finale will feature musical guests from the Fort Worth Christian School Strings Ensemble.

The ensemble will join the TCC String Spring Ensemble in a 30-piece orchestral performance of Simon
Jeffes’ Music for a Found Harmonium and Ashkoan Farewell by Jay Ungar.

The free concert is in the NSTU Center Corner on NE Campus.
