Dine out to avoid burned burgers

IInstead of sitting at home burning another Mother’s Day meal take mom out instead. Here are a few suggestions from budget to extravagant.

Golden Corral

If you are on a budget, catch the Sunrise Breakfast Buffet and choose from a variety of pancakes, waffles and omelettes ($7.99) 7:30-11 a.m.

For an afternoon or evening trip to the buffet, you can get steak, chicken and selected seafood with hot sides, various salads and deserts. The lunch buffet is $6.99, and the dinner is $9.49.

Uno Chicago Grill
Looking to spend a little more money?

Try Uno Chicago Grill, 300 Houston St. in Sundance Square in Fort Worth. For a quiet low light setting, Uno is perfect for a lunch or dinner and is known for its signature product, the Numero Uno, a deep-dish pizza ($8.69 individual), Uno also serves an assortment of non-pizza dishes. Take a sip and sample from the soup menu with the Mrs. O’Leary’s clam chowder ($4.29) or add a side salad. Meat eaters can pick from chicken and steak, such as the chicken parmesan ($10.59). Also available from the bar are a wide choice of wines and some non-alcoholic freezers.

Reata

The Reata Restaurant in the heart of Sundance Square serves a steak and lobster dinner for $40.95. Also on the menu is the 16-ounce cowboy bone-in rib eye with cook’s butter for $36.95.
