Writing centers are available on each campus to assist students with the basic concepts of writing.
The primary goal of each center is to assist students in becoming polished writers using the skills learned in their classes.
The centers provide assistance with topic selection, outlines, proofreading and MLA formatting.
The four campus centers offer different services in addition to writing tutorials, but all students wanting assistance should make an appointment and come prepared. The centers are available to provide help, not to do students’ work.
An individual wanting to use the labs’ services does not have to be enrolled in English or writing courses, but must be a TCC student.
All services are rendered free of charge.
