Yet another sequel to the legendary “I don’t know who you are. But I will find you, and I will kill you” Taken movie has opened. Except, nobody is taken.

In the first installment, sex traffickers in Paris kidnap Liam Neeson’s daughter. So he goes to Paris, finds them and kills them.

In the second installment, the same group kidnaps his wife in Istanbul, Turkey. So he finds them and kills them.

Neeson’s whole family was taken. Who gets taken three times? A third movie seemed redundant.

However, Taken 3 features a classic plot to the film series — classic action plot. The cops are after Neeson for a crime he did not do. Meanwhile, he is trying to find the real criminal — very romanticized and typical.

Viewers who enjoyed the first two movies might develop a love-hate relationship with this one. However, it becomes just like most action movies out there. If one has nothing else to do, by all means, watch it. It is amusing.

Not what Taken fans expected, but good enough if Liam Neeson is still there. Right?
