Nov. 11 NE student activities and Circle of Nations @ TCC will present Genocide in America: The Boarding School Experience 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615A). The event will focus on the failure of Native American boarding schools, the Dawes Act and the Miriam report and their effects on modern Native American culture. Nov. 17 Storytellers De Cee Cornish and Lady Jaye of the Tipi Tellers will use storytelling, traditional music and Native American artifacts to present a celebration of Native American heritage 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the TR Fulkerson Library.
