March 30 NE Campus will host a potluck reception and exhibition for artist Salvador Jimenez-Flores 4-5:30 p.m. in the J. Ardis Bell Library. March 30-31 NE Campus will hold a hands-on ceramics workshop presented by artist Salvador Jimenez-Flores 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in NFAB 1130. Flores will present various transfer techniques used for clay and ceramics. The workshop is free to observe for all TCC students, $35 for material fees for TCC students who want to participate and $150 for all non-TCC students who want to participate. March 31-April 2 The Northwest Dance Company and Mosaic Dance Project will perform Home. Dance Is My Sanctuary at 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. performance on April 2 in Theatre Northwest (WTLO 1119A). This event will feature performances from both dance groups on NW and guest performers from local high schools and alumni. April 1 The NE Campus music department will hold a master piano class 10-11:30 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111). Professor and experienced musician Edward Francis will give students feedback and provide techniques to help their performances. The 10 a.m. class is available only to TCC music students and local teachers. The 3 p.m. class is available to all students. April 1 NE Campus will present Practicing Strategies for Busy College Music Students, a lecture on practice techniques for piano students, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111). April 2-24 NE students and faculty will have their works displayed in the Texas Wesleyan University West Library. The ceramic pieces are based on the artists’ favorite books or poems. The university will hold a closing reception 1-3 p.m. April 24 in the West Library to honor the participating student and faculty artists. Light refreshments will be served. April 5 The NW music department will hold a flute duet and cello recital at 7:30 p.m. in Recital Hall (WFAB 1105). Flute students who are UNT candidates will perform alongside a professional cellist, featuring music from a variety of eras. April 5-28 NE Campus will exhibit work from advanced photography students in College Hall (NCAB 1111). Works are independent and cover a variety of genres such as installations, landscapes and portraits. The exhibit is available during school operating hours.

April 8-29 The Fort Worth Community Arts Center at 1300 Gendy St. in Fort Worth will display pieces from TCC’s biennial NE art faculty and staff show. The event begins with an opening night reception 6-9 p.m. for NE faculty and staff who will display their works in the exhibition. Light refreshments will be served. April 12 NE Campus presents a solo guitar recital by music adjunct instructor Pedro Haley at 7 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111). The recital will feature guitar music from Spain and Latin America through the centuries. For additional information, call 817-515-6567.

April 14-16 South Campus students present the play Fugue by Lee Thuna starting at 7:30 p.m. in the SPAC Carillon Theatre. The play is about a young psychiatrist helping an amnesiac woman regain her dark memories. Tickets are sold on performance day beginning at 7 p.m. and are $3 for non-TCC students and senior citizens and $6 for the general public. No late seating is allowed.
