May 4 South will host Petting Zoo 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the lawn area in front of the Rotunda. Students are encouraged to take a break from finals and relieve some stress by coming to see various animals at the free event.
May 4 Astronomy Workshops: Solar System Exam Review Sessions will be 4-5:30 p.m. in ESEE 2342 on SE Campus. Students will receive astronomy survival guides to help them prepare for their final exams.
May 4-5 NW Campus will have a banner-signing party for graduating students 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Five transfer centers will have banners prepared for students to sign that will be displayed at the graduation ceremony May 16. The signing will take place in WSTU’s main hallway.
May 5 SE Campus will hold its Cinco de Mayo Celebration 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the ESCT HUB. The names of students who successfully guess how many treats are in a pinata will be put in a drawing to receive a free lunch from student activities. May 5 NE Campus will hold a seminar on clinical documentation 1-4 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111). The presentation will be given by Kimberley Scales, center for therapeutic change clinical director, and will provide continuing education and training in the area of clinical documentation. The course will also cover the ethical and cultural aspects of clinical documentation and legal obligations associated with records. Three contact hours will be awarded to licensed professionals who register for the professional section. Professionals pay a $21 registration fee.
