An ensemble of 21 NW students will present a concert packed with a variety of music types March 9.

Seven combinations of students will perform Johann Sebastian Bach, 1950s rock ’n’ roll, jazz, classical, foreign languages and many more.

This will be a diverse concert from the music eras to the NW performers with ages ranging from 18 to 70.

Music associate professor Eddie Vandewalker said the music department looks forward to playing for all ages and various music fans.

“This is a kid-friendly event,” he said. “The music department encourages everyone to come out, enjoy the music and have a good time.”

Vandewalker emphasized the power of the music that will be performed.

“Our hope is that attendees will be entertained, and they will leave with hearts filled with joy from some great music,” he said.

The NW ensemble concert will have two performance times at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. both in the theater (WTLO 1108).
