SE student activities will present Your Life in the Funny Pages: Incorporating Autobiography into Newspaper Comics presented by Josh Rose 2:20-3:50 p.m. in the library classroom. Rose, an El Centro College art faculty member, will teach how to tell one’s life story through comic strips. Space is limited. Light refreshments will be served. March 1 Carter BloodCare will be on NW Campus for a blood drive 10 a.m.-2 p.m. outside WFAB and WTLO. Healthy donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, be over 17 and have a valid photo ID. March 1 The UNT Eagle Landing Event will be hosted by the University of North Texas 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Riverfront Cafe on TR Campus. Advisers from all nine UNT colleges that offer undergraduate degrees and transfer counselors will be available to evaluate students’ transcripts. Financial aid staff can answer scholarship questions. This workshop will assist students with identifying their learning styles and teach them learning strategies and ways to study.
