Local leader will discuss success

In honor of Women’s History Month, the president and CEO of Catholic Charities Fort Worth will speak March 30 on TR Campus.

Heather Reynolds will talk about her job, who she is as a leader and what has shaped her career and life purpose.

“We thought that it would be important to bring her to campus for students to hear a young local leader discuss her success,” said Eddie Brassart, TR coordinator of student activities. “She is a great example for any student who wants to be an entrepreneur, nonprofit organization owner or hopes of becoming a business leader.”

Reynolds is a representation of a young leader who has dedicated her time to fundraising, speaking out about poverty and strategizing ways to fix it, Brassart said. In 2010, she was listed as one of Fort Worth Business Press’ “40 Under 40.”

“Reynolds is breaking the mold of young women CEOs,” Brassart said.

Reynolds will also interact with students during a Q&A session after her talk noon-1 p.m. in the Idea Store.
