TCC police are investigating an aggravated motor vehicle theft that occurred Sept. 13 on SE Campus.

According to the email sent out to the SE Campus community, a green 2004 Lexus was stolen at approximately 6 p.m. from the campus’ Lot A parking lot near the bus stop. The vehicle’s driver side taillight is cracked, and there is red paint on the driver side rear bumper.

Through surveillance video, campus police described the subject as a black female with black, short hair styled in a bun. She was seen wearing a black tank top with a black-and-white checkered pattern on the front with knee-length denim shorts and black flip-flops.

“It is important to remember to always lock your vehicle and keep any valuables out of plain sight,” officers noted in the email. “Keep your vehicle key or keys secured with you at all times, in a pocket or purse.”

Additionally, TCC police encourage everyone to report suspicious activities, such as persons walking around parking lots looking into vehicles.

The college police department asks that anyone with information pertaining to this investigation call 817-515-8911.
