TR Campus held a deaf immersion event in the Idea Store Oct. 25 honoring Disability Awareness Month. In It’s a Deaf, Deaf World, participants experienced what life is like for people in the deaf community. Individuals were challenged to perform basic tasks such as withdrawing money from the bank or running errands without using words or written notes.
