The best and easiest solution to what many students perceive as a lack of parking, said TCC Police Chief Shaun Williams, is to arrive at campus early and take the first spot available without circling around trying to nab a spot close to the building.
“If any student sees a police officer in his vehicle, [he or she] can ask where is there available parking,” Williams said.

All campuses require a parking permit that can be obtained at any campus police office, Williams said. A current photo ID and class schedule are required, and permits can be used for any campus, except TR Campus, which requires a special stamp. This, Williams said, is to prevent students not attending the campus to use campus instead of public parking while in downtown Fort Worth.
If students forget their parking permits, the police department also has temporary ones available. The same materials are required for this pass as for the original.
Parking places on all campuses are bordered in different colored lines.
The white spaces are for students, yellow for faculty and staff, blue for visitors, and some campuses have green spots for campus security.
The campuses also offer parking spaces for the disabled.
NE Campus has 10 parking lots with two large lots on the north and south sides of the campus. TR Campus has three parking lots with one main parking garage. NW Campus has five lots, South Campus has six and SE Campus has five.
Fines for violating parking regulations range from $5 to $25. Violations include parking in non-student zones, parking without a permit or with an expired permit, parking in a no-parking zone, double parking, obstructing traffic, parking in a visitor zone with a permit and many others.
Vehicle regulation pamphlets containing all parking information are available at the campus police department offices.
