Fire and Freedom: Food and Enslavement in Early America
February 7 - February 28
The Fire and Freedom: Food and Enslavement in Early America exhibit is open during regular campus hours in the SE library (ESED 1200). The exhibition uses George Washington’s Mount Vernon as an example of how meals reveal how power is exchanged between and among different peoples, races, genders and classes.
