Nov. 21-March 21 The Kimbell Art Museum will mark the opening of From the Private Collections of Texas: European Art, Ancient to Modern with lectures Nov. 21 by the exhibit co-curators. Richard R. Brettell will present From Boulevards to Ranch Roads: The Private Collecting of European Art in Texas and C.D. Dickerson will present Behind Closed Doors: Unlocking the Great Art Treasure of Texas Private Collections beginning at 10 a.m. in the Darnell Street auditorium. The exhibit of 100 paintings, most previously unseen in public, will open Nov. 22. For more information, call 817-332-8451.
