Students on South Campus gather in the Intercultural Network Center to carve pumpkins.
Intercultural Network director David Carillo stressed the academic nature of the program and the importance of social events like this one throughout the year.
“Today is a fun social event where we can get into the spirit and celebrate Halloween,” he said.
Lunch was provided for all students in attendance, and guest judges were invited to award prizes for the most creative jack o’ lanterns.
