TCC students, faculty and staff can lend support to the Big Brothers Big Sisters program by signing up for the Bowl for Kids Sake fundraising bowling tournament.
The tournament will take place Oct. 1 at Cityview Lanes off Hulen Street in Fort Worth.
“I have volunteered for this event before, and we always have a wonderful time,” said Melissa Lewis, NE Campus Bowl For Kids Sake coordinator. “We bowl two games with cosmic bowling, eat lunch, and usually some door prizes are handed out.”
Teams will consist of five bowlers with each member required to raise at least $100 for donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters. Participants can choose to be team captains or enter as individuals and placed with a team. Those not interested in bowling can make donations to an individual or team.
