Randy Saleh, NE academic advisor, will present Money Management and Students 12:30-1:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in the NSTU Center Corner on NE Campus.
Saleh said the personal finance seminar is designed to help students and faculty learn the basics of home finance, steps to making a financial plan and ways to get out of debt.
Saleh also wants to show students the power of saving money and explain how it will help them in the long run. He said eliminating debt and developing a positive relationship with money are the first steps.
“My hope is for students to come away with a positive relationship with money,” he said.
“We are in very poor economic times, and a positive attitude will help them think that they are actually winning in the game of money and finance.”
