Professional and family caregivers can learn the latest on bio-ethics Thursday, Oct. 4, on NE Campus.
Dann Baker of John Peter Smith Hospital will present Bio-Ethics: Issues and Resources for Integrating Beliefs and Values 1-4 p.m. in the NSTU Center Corner.
The session will cover examining the process of ethics conflict planning, exploring resources and evaluating the means to relieve suffering.
Baker will also discuss legal documents, ways for families to communicate about health care wishes and the process of ethical decisions.
Sponsored by NE Campus continuing education and mental health departments, the seminar costs $20 for professionals, $10 for students and free for family caregivers.
