As a new semester begins, students can learn to manage busy lifestyles during Balancing Multiple RolesWednesday, Feb, 6, on South Campus.
In collaboration with Women in New Roles curriculum, Flo Stanton, South coordinator of health services, will present role awareness and methods of dealing with role conflicts. She presents the three-part health series each semester.
“Students with multiple roles and every student could benefit from the session,” she said.
Stanton said the session is not only for women.
“Men are welcome to attend, and those who have been in attendance enjoyed it,” she said.
The session will be 6-6:45 p.m. in the SSTU Forum Room. This session is a part of the WINR program but is open to the campus community.
“Balancing multiple roles helps to manage stress thus allowing one to be more effective in those roles, “ she said.
This seminar is an interactive session with handouts available, Stanton said.
