Student activities has been busy planning one of its biggest events, Spring Fest 2008, which will take place Wednesday, April 16, on the lawn behind the library.

Because it is an election year, the theme for the party is politics. The event will include anything that has to do with major local or world issues, political parties and the colors red, white and blue.

Each club participating is responsible for representing an issue based on the club’s values and beliefs.

Ideas include healthcare, the War in Iraq, global warming, education or anything else they can think of.

In addition to the political party, Spring Fest will provide an opportunity to gain new club members, fundraise and have fun.

Student activities requests that each club gets a plan together as soon as possible so the staff can make necessary arrangements for setups.

Food and music will also be provided.
