Registration opens for Toro Dash

The third annual Toro Dash will begin at 8 a.m. Nov. 1 at Trinity Park in Fort Worth.

The event will include three races: one-mile fun run, 5K and 10K. Medals will be given to the top three female and male winners of every event and to any participants under the age of 12.

Early-bird registration is available starting at $15 for the one-mile fun run and $20 for the 5K and 10K. Prices increase $5 after Oct. 8 and another $5 on race day.

Registration information can be found at https: www.edsregistration.com/events/97.

Faculty, students and children receive discounts. Faculty and staff get $10 off, and students get $15 off.

Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help assist with activities. No experience is needed, and all volunteers will receive a special gift.

Registration for volunteers can be found on the TCC website.

Though not all participants will receive a medal, free T-shirts and goodie bags will be given to all registered participants who attend the event.
