Student leaders to learn their roles in conflict

By Victoria Pedersen

Students will learn how to navigate conflict from a leader’s perspective at Phi Theta Kappa’s Student Leadership Academy presentation Guiding Through Conflict March 7 on NE Campus.

“When working with people, there is always conflict,” NE Phi Theta Kappa adviser Jared Landin said.

By learning to recognize the importance of a leader’s role in conflict, students can apply practical approaches and techniques to resolve issues, Landin said.

“Without leadership, chaos is created,” he said.

The academy meets during the fall and spring semesters 6-7 p.m. in NSTU 1506 on NE Campus.

Refreshments will be available. For more information, contact student activities at 817-515-6582.
