With football season in full swing, NW Campus is adding to TCC’s pigskin fix.
The seven-on-seven flag football league on NW will start Oct. 11.
Depending on how many teams register, the format could go one of two ways.
“We’ll see how many teams sign up,” said NW intramural director Ryan Stewart. “Then we will structure the league depending on that.”
If only a few teams sign up, NW will just have a round-robin tournament, Stewart said.
“But if there a lot of teams, we will have a league format,” he said.
Teams can have a maximum of 11 players, and everyone is open to play. Each game will be 40 minutes long, ensuring that there will be some high-scoring shootouts, Stewart said.
“Hopefully, there will be a lot of offense,” he said. “I just want it to be fun for everybody.”
Players can sign up in the WHPE building until Oct. 10.
