Students not enrolled in a health or physical education class this fall still have plenty of reasons to visit their campus gyms.
Aside from the multitude of scheduled intramural activities this season, campus gyms offer the opportunity for students and faculty to have fun, get in shape and meet with each other in a safe environment. The health and physical education department on each campus offers open access to cardio and weight room facilities as well as a scheduled daily open swim time.
Students must first check in with a staff member at the checkout desk and provide a photo ID and copy of their current schedule. Depending on the campus, personnel will then issue a day pass or color-coded wrist band, which is required for gym access.
All campuses offer basketball. South and NE have racquetball. NW has soccer.
The checkout desk hours and services may vary from campus to campus, but each campus offers plenty of activities for everyone. Visit the nearest gym to find out more.
