Oct. 8 Red paper will cover the hallways of TRTR Main Street 11 a.m.-noon on TR Campus. The event includes gift cards, HIV testing across from the Riverfront Café and a presentation on HIV awareness. Red attire is encouraged.
Oct. 9 Students can have their bodies traced, cut out and then decorate those cutouts 11 a.m.-noon across from the bookstore on TR Campus. The decorated cutouts will be hung all along TRTR Main Street with the hands positioned to look like they’re being held. Oct. 10 Students can participate in a pride parade 11 a.m.-1 p.m. that will begin by Student Life, march down TRTR Main Street and end at the Idea Store. Oct. 15 Students can learn how to be an advocate for members of the LGBTQ community. Participants will become familiar with language, resources and culture.
