NE Campus career and employment services will reach out to students at its open house Feb. 9.
This semester’s theme is “What the Career Center can do for you,” said Vicki McCleery, senior office assistant.
“We want students to know what we offer,” McCleery said. “A lot of students don’t know we’re here.”
She hopes to inform students about the services the center offers such as job searches, résumé development, mock interviews and networking skills, she said.
“They’ll leave knowing something about career and employment,” she said.
Refreshments will be served, and attendees will have a chance to win prizes by answering questions related to career and employment services. Students can find clues and answers to these questions posted on bulletin boards around campus, McCleery said.
The open house is 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in NSTU 1625.
