South Campus will offer a free boot camp at 6 a.m. June 1-23.
The class will meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Students and faculty are asked to meet at the gym.
Mike Daniels, health physical education instructor, and Larry LaLanne, instructional associate for the center for academic success, will teach the class.
“The class will be one hour, designed to reduce body fat, lose weight, improve strength, gain self-confidence and improve endurance,” LaLanne said.
The boot camp will include cardio-core stability training, resistance-weight training, boxing, kickboxing/self-defense, treadmill workouts and calisthenics.
Those interested in attending should contact LaLanne at 817-515-4257. Participation is limited to 25, so spots may fill quickly.
