An informational retreat inviting all dance students to learn together will occur Jan. 25 on NW Campus.
Dance associate professor Kim Jackson said the event allows students to meet fellow dancers and receive advice to help further their careers.
“It has a community feel,” she said. “We offer sessions for dance lovers and auditions for the student choreography showcase later this semester.”
Jackson said the retreat is designed especially for those just starting to take dance.
“It shows students that dance goes beyond the classroom. It’s more than that,” she said. “This is about establishing relationships.”
