With his latest effort, Feel That Fire, Dierks Bentley proves himself a certified country music superstar.
The record runs the gamut of styles, and Bentley shows himself equally adept at all of them.
The title track was recently a No. 1 hit on the country charts and figures to be the first of many that hit the top spot.
One of the slower songs on the collection, “I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes” is the classic country ballad that he seems to excel at the most.
But there is something for everybody on this record, such as “I Can’t Forget Her,” which takes a more southwestern-style direction musically.
Other songs, such as “Better Believer,” manage to get a message across while being driven by an up-tempo beat.
Many people might not think of the name Dierks Bentley when they begin listing the names of country music superstars, but it’s apparent on this record that he has established himself as a force in the genre.
