SE Campus will kick off its month-long celebration of Black History Month with a sultry performance.
Temmora will perform live Friday, Feb. 3, at noon in the ESED North Ballroom.
“ Our goal is not only to entertain but also to educate students about Black History,” Doug Peak, director of student services, said.
Temmora, a young, up-and-coming artist, blends hip hop and R&B. She credits her influences as the likes of Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige and Dallas native Erykah Badu.
“ Temmora has performed [at TCC] before, and she always has a very positive response from our students, ” Peak said.
