As part of the NE Campus student success series, student activities will sponsor Tips on Choosing an Academic Major March 30.
Lilian Mabry, NE counselor, will tell students how to choose the correct major for themselves. Through her PowerPoint presentation, students will recognize themselves and where they can be successful, she said.
“It is important to have a goal, and this speech is a goal-setting exercise on who you are and where you want to go in the future,” Mabry said.
A state-licensed professional counselor, Mabry’s works include personal counseling, group student advice and other counseling.
Held every semester, the presentation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. in NSTU Center Corner. All students who would like to attend should RSVP their attendance at 817-515-6456.
