The time for job fairs has arrived for TCC students and the community. SE Campus will host its semi-annual job fair 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the Main Commons.
Back-to-School/Back-to-Work, sponsored by career and employment services on SE Campus, will feature nearly 50 employers including Six Flags, FedEx, Wells Fargo, JPS Health Network, Irving Police Department, Kroger and Sears.
Employers attending the fair will offer flexible schedules, seasonal employment, part-time and full-time positions. Some will offer tuition assistance for employees.
“Be prepared to sell yourself,” Gina Maloy, assistant coordinator of career and employment services, said.
Moreover, students should have their resumes ready—several copies of them—dress appropriately and expect this fair to be a real job interview, Maloy said.
