South to hold coping session

South Campus counseling services will present a student seminar, Stress: Coping with Pressures of School, Work and Family, Tuesday, April 10.

Sandra Johnson, South Campus counselor, will speak on the importance of self-perception and the way individuals of all ages manage stressful lifestyles.

Johnson, who has been a counselor for more than 25 years, has experience in career exploration as well as personal development.

“ By taking a holistic approach, we can understand stress physically, spiritually and environmentally,” she said.

Johnson will also unravel the myths in society about stress and different ways to cope.

The seminar will be in the SSTU Texas Room on South Campus 12:30-1:30 p.m. The free seminar is open to the public.
