SE students will have a chance to test their mettle during Toro’s Bootcamp Challenge April 11.

The event starts at 1 p.m. next to the sand volleyball court, but students should arrive no later than 12:45 p.m. to register.

The obstacle course challenge is an annual tradition for SE Campus, said health and physical education instructor Shahzad Nazir.

“It takes about two minutes to run the course,” he said. “Along the way, we have different stations set up like agility poles, hurdles, rope ladders and medicine balls.”

Competitors run the course two at a time and are measured on how fast they complete all the stations.

Prizes are awarded to the top male and female competitors.

“This year, we’re giving away Sony sport headphones to the winners,” Nazir said. “It should be a lot of fun.”

No fees or pre-registration are required to compete.
