The NE chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success will host a live webcast featuring actor, comedian and producer John Leguizamo Nov. 10.

The presentation, which will be the final in a series of four, will stream live from New Jersey City University to over 490 universities and chapters nationwide.

The broadcast will be held 6-8 p.m. in Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615A), and light refreshments will be served.

The lecture series is not just a forum for the guest speaker to talk, but it is a chance for students to be involved in a more interactive way. Members from all over the U.S. can ask Leguizamo questions in real time via webcam, email or Twitter during the broadcast.

While the live webcast is open to any TCC student, membership to the society itself is a bit more exclusive, said NE student development associate Juan Olivera at the Al Roker webcast earlier in October.

“[Consideration for membership] is based on leadership potential as well as academic performance,” he said. “To be a member for the NSLS … one must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.”

Any questions about this or any other NSLS event should be directed to NE student activities coordinator Cara Walker at cara.walker@tccd.edu.
