As part of TCC’s 50th anniversary celebration, SE Campus will present Where Do We Go From Here: TCC 50 and the Role of Higher Education in the United States Nov. 23.

History assistant professor Bradley J. Borougerdi will lead the lecture presentation.

“I will be discussing the history of higher education in the United States, how it has transformed and what we can do with community college as a society today,” he said.

Any students, faculty or community members interested in the significance and role of community colleges are welcome to attend, Borougerdi said.

“Students should have a better appreciation for the historical significance of higher education in our society,” he said.

The lecture will take place 10:40-11:35 a.m. in the Carrier Library (ESED 1200).
