Students can learn important changes when the Women In New Roles program sponsors Financial Aid for College Success April 8 on South Campus.
“[Students] will be exposed to some major upcoming changes,” said Jolynn Sprole, South financial aid director, who will present the hands-on seminar.
Changes include the importance of having the correct degree plan on file, only taking classes on that plan and consequences for not following that plan, including being “denied funds due to enrollment in wrong classes,” Sprole said.
“We are digging in a little deeper than just how to apply,” she said. “[Students] will have an opportunity to ask questions. We will also be using the website to show how to retrieve and locate information.”
The concluding event for the spring Community Seminar Series will last 6-7 p.m. in the SSTU Texas Room.
